Yes — every gemstone is 100% natural tanzanite, personally selected and checked by me (Linda - Gemmologist)) in my professional capacity as a trained gemologist. We guarantee that each stone is flawless, untreated by chemicals or dyes, completely natural, and of the finest quality available.
Every piece comes with full gemmological documentation and a certificate of origin and authenticity. We also always encourage customers to have their tanzanite independently appraised once it arrives, for added peace of mind.
(We have never had a customer who wasn’t absolutely thrilled with their valuation results.)
You’re completely protected.
Every shipment is fully insured.
In the rare event of loss, delay, damage, or misrouting, we will refund or replace your purchase immediately while the courier investigates.
You are never left waiting or worrying.
For complete peace of mind, if you decide to buy from us, you can check out using your credit or debit card as normal, but have the payment processed through PayPal. No PayPal account is required.
Because we use PayPal to process all our electronic transactions, every purchase made this way automatically includes PayPal Buyer Protection — an independent third-party guarantee that protects you in rare, worst-case scenarios such as:

Not at all. We ship internationally every day, and FedEx manages the entire customs process for you.
Parcels typically clear within hours.
All paperwork is included, your shipment is fully insured, and if you ever choose to return your tanzanite, we handle all customs documentation for the return as well.
Simply print the label and FedEx collects the parcel from your door.
We usually ship from our main office in Hong Kong. Our products can be delivered anywhere in Europe, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand; we also ship to most destinations in Asia, except India. Unfortunately, we currently cannot offer delivery to most African countries.
Shipping and returns are free. Our usual delivery partner is FedEx.

One Flat Rate Of 15%. No Surprises.
At Tanzanite Direct, we apply a flat 15% fee at checkout, no matter where you are in the world. You won’t pay anything extra.
Any unexpected taxes go on our tab. That's right: if the customs authorities in your country charge you anything on top of that 15%, we will cover the difference.
It depends on your location. Domestic orders take an average of 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7 to 16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
If you believe you should have received your order by now, and haven't, please get in touch, and we will look into it immediately.
