14 Day Change of Mind Policy

With our 14 Day Change of Mind Policy, you have the time to decide if your purchase is exactly what you wanted.

If, for any reason, you are not completely happy with your item, please contact us via email within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will start the return process for you. We will organize the return shipping and postage, and, where possible, arrange for FedEx to pick the item up from your home or place of work.

Free Shipping Both Ways

Under our 14 Day Change of Mind Policy, we offer free return FedEx shipping on every order shipped to US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Please note that if your original order was posted with express shipping, we are unable to refund the additional $50 charge incurred during the checkout.

Extra Reassurance Through PayPal

For customers who appreciate an additional sense of security, you are welcome to make your purchase using your credit or debit card through PayPal’s secure checkout. Even without a PayPal account, this payment method automatically includes PayPal Buyer Protection.

This independent third-party safeguard provides peace of mind in rare, theoretical scenarios such as:

• an item arriving significantly different from the description and we refused to refund you, or

• an order not arriving at all.

In these worst-case situations, PayPal can refund you directly, offering a secondary safety net outside of TanzaniteDirect.

While we have never — ever — had a client require this protection, many customers find comfort in knowing that this extra layer of reassurance is available.

Starting the Returns Process

Email us at info@tanzanitedirect.com or use our contact form to receive the instructions on returning your item. Please include in your email the name the item was ordered under, and the reason for return.

Non-Returnable Goods:

Examples of non-returnable products include:

• Some special orders custom-made to customer specifications. We will always inform you if an item cannot be returned before going ahead with your order
• Products modified as per customer requirements
• Rings which have been ordered in sizes below US size 6 or above US size 7.5

Please note that we will also be unable to refund you for any items which have been abused or modified.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within seven days after the returned purchases are received and examined by a jeweler.

Faulty Items

We will happily replace and ship, or refund the receipted cost of any faulty piece, should the returns process be started within 14 days of delivery (including day of delivery).
