INDEPENDANT APPRAISAL PROMOTION
Send Us Your Appraisal & Get $150 Back
Buying gemstones online can feel like a leap of faith — so we’ve built a process that allows you to verify everything independently.
We actively encourage every client to have their tanzanite appraised by a qualified, local jewellery valuer after purchase. To ensure the result is completely objective, we recommend this is done as a blind appraisal, without sharing the purchase price.
As part of this, we are currently offering a $150 appraisal credit, reimbursed once your independent valuation is complete.
We do this for one reason: transparency.
We want you to see, through an independent expert, exactly how the quality and value of your piece compares to traditional retail.
Over time, many clients have shared their appraisal results with us — and in many cases, valuations have come back significantly higher than the original purchase price.
How to Receive Your Post Purchase $150 Appraisal Credit
If you’ve purchased a tanzanite gemstone or jewellery piece from Tanzanite Direct and had it independently appraised, we’ll thank you with a $150 refund.
Step 1 — Arrange an Independent Appraisal
Take your piece to a qualified local jeweller or professional valuer of your choice.
Request an appraisal for replacement retail value. For the most objective result, we recommend a blind appraisal (do not disclose your purchase price).
Most appraisals take approximately 1–2 weeks, after which you’ll receive a formal document outlining the gemstone details and assessed value.
Step 2 — Send Us Your Appraisal
Email us a clear photo or scan of your completed appraisal.
Step 3 — Grant Permission to Share (Optional but Appreciated)
Include a short note confirming you’re happy for us to publish the appraisal.
All personal details will be removed — only the gemstone specifications and valuation will be shown.
Step 4 — Receive Your $150 Credit
Once approved, we’ll issue your $150 refund, or you may choose to apply it as a credit toward a future purchase.

HOW TO Get the most objective appraisal
The best way to obtain a truly independent valuation is to take your piece to a local jeweller or certified appraiser.
We strongly recommend doing this “blind.”
That means:
Don’t tell them where you bought the gemstone
Don’t tell them how much you paid
Don’t show them any of our documents
Don’t reveal any background information at all
This ensures the appraisal is completely objective and gives you absolute confidence in the true retail value of your tanzanite.
