If your piece isn’t exactly what you hoped for, for any reason, just let us know within 14 days of delivery - and well start the process for a full refund. I

The easiest returns process ever:

• Tell us within 14 days of delivery that you’d like to return your item.
• We will email you a prepaid return label.
• Depending on your location, you can either arrange a courier pickup or drop the parcel at your local depot. That’s it.

Add on an extra 15% Import Duty Fee — No nasty extra surprise charges 

• We charge an additional 15% flat rate at checkout.
• This covers all taxes, duties, tariffs, and VAT.
• You will never be charged anything extra upon delivery, anywhere in the world.
  (Even with this charge, our prices are usually still much lower than stores in your country).

Yes - We have extra, Third-Party Buyer Protection
When you check out, you can pay with your credit or debit card as normal , but have  PayPal process the payment ( no PayPal account needed ).

This automatically gives you PayPal Buyer Protection, which is  covers nightmare situations like:

• the item being very different from described 
• the retailer not honouring their returns or refund policy
• the parcel not arriving at all or the seller refusing to honour their refund policy

If a seller refused to fix an issue, PayPal can refund you directly — a completely independent safety net outside of our own returns policy.

We’ve never -ever- had a client use this second level of protection, but its nice to  know it it exists.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

• We aim to dispatch your order within 48 working hours of purchase
• Buying a ring? We may need an additional 24-48 hours to resize it for you. Rings in US size 7 are available for immediate dispatch

How long will delivery take?

• Free shipping to most locations globally usually takes between 4-7 working days from order (see table below)

Tax & Duty - One Flat Rate Of 15% - No Surprises.

We apply a flat rate of an extra 15% at checkout to cover all applicable taxes, VAT, import duties, and tariffs. This means there are no additional or hidden charges —the price you see at checkout is the final amount you'll pay.

Yes, we know that no one enjoys adding on extra for taxes or import duty, but even with this 15% charge included, *you'll find our products STILL typically remain highly competitive compared to local market prices and you'll still likely be saving hundreds of dollars. 

*Keep in mind the import duty / VAT for most of Europe is usually over 24%, GST & Duty in Australia is 15% etc. 

How It Works

• The 15% flat fee applies to all orders, regardless of your shipping destination, as is charged at checkout, in addition to the price of the item you're  buying. 

• Any additional customs, VAT, duty, or import fees that may be charged by your local authorities upon international import to your country will be covered by us automatically.

• We instruct our shipping partners (such as FedEx or other regional carriers) to bill any such charges directly to our corporate account, ensuring your order arrives without delay or surprise costs.

Opting Out

If you prefer to manage and pay your own taxes or duties directly, please contact us prior to placing your order, and we will make the necessary arrangements to remove the 15% charge from your checkout.

Exceptions

In some regions, including certain areas within the United States, local carriers may apply a small handling or transaction fee. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control and cannot be prepaid. These fees are generally minor and do not exceed USD $45.00. Your delivery service will notify you if such a charge applies.

Will customs be a nightmare?

Not at all. We ship internationally every day, and FedEx manages the entire customs process for you. Parcels typically clear within hours.

All paperwork is included, your shipment is fully insured, and in the rare case you wish to return your tanzanite, you won’t have any issues — we handle all the paperwork for the return as well, all you have to do is print out the return label.

TANZANITE WEIGHT & MEASUREMENT

• Measurements show the tanzanite’s minimum diameter and depth, measured in millimeters. The measurements are noted as length x width x depth
• The “face-up” length and width measurements are the best way to judge a colored stone's actual size—as opposed to carat weight, which can change depending on the variations in each stone's proportions

COLOR

Tanzanite Direct separates our tanzanite into five color groups:

Tanzanite Color Groups:

1. Pastel
   • Sky blue or pastel color intensity. Very pretty, and commonly
     available.
2. Medium
   • Medium color with good saturation. A clear and pretty stone, considered desirable.
3. Strong
   • Excellent color quality and depth with strong saturation. May
     appear less powerful under bright lighting conditions. Usually
     considered top range in a jewelry shop.
4. Deep
   • Strongly saturated with exceptionally fine color intensity.
     Represents the top 5% of all stones mined and is considered an
     excellent example of tanzanite
5. Intense
   • Top 1% of colors mined, showcasing the rarest and most
     outstanding color intensity. GIA Color Grade 6/6
