This pendant in 18k yellow gold features a magnificent emerald-cut tanzanite weighing approx. 3.50 carats topped with a solitaire round diamond, with a luxurious diamond pendant loop, and chain set with two more diamonds for extra sparkle.

The emerald cut, originally developed for the cutting of emeralds (hence the name), truly makes this tanzanite shine, with a unique look created by the step cuts of the stone's pavilion and its large, open table. While less fiery than the more common round or oval brilliant cut, the emerald cut's long lines and dramatic flashes of light give it an elegant appeal.

A very deeply-colored tanzanite in an emerald cut is quite the rarity: but the stones we have for this particular pendant design are the exception to the rule. If you're looking for the finest-quality tanzanite, this one is for you!

Import Tax

One Flat Rate Of 15%. No Surprises.

These days, it seems like tariffs are changing every week, which can turn international shopping from an exciting experience into a nightmare. At Tanzanite Direct, we want you to enjoy our beautiful gemstones and jewelry without wondering if you're about to get hit with a huge import tax bill—so we're taking care of the unexpected for you.

No matter where you are in the world, we apply a flat 15% fee at checkout. That's it.

Any other unexpected taxes go on our tab. That's right: if the customs authorities in your country charge you anything on top of that 15%, we will cover the difference.

One small exception:

In some countries and parts of the US, you may be charged a small handling or transaction fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to administer these from our end at this time. Your delivery service will inform you of any such charges, which usually will not exceed USD 50.

TANZANITE WEIGHT & MEASUREMENT

Measurements show the tanzanite’s minimum diameter and depth, measured in millimeters. The measurements are noted as length x width x depth
The “face-up” length and width measurements are the best way to judge a colored stone's actual size—as opposed to carat weight, which can change depending on the variations in each stone's proportions

TANZANITE CUT

Tanzanite Directs‘s gemologists hand-select only premium cut stones, which are symmetrical, smoothly polished, and even in color and light reflection

COLOR

Tanzanite Direct separates our tanzanite into five color groups:

Tanzanite Color Groups:

Pastel
- Sky blue or pastel color intensity. Very pretty, and commonly
  available.
Medium
- Medium color with good saturation. A clear and pretty stone, considered desirable.
Strong
- Excellent color quality and depth with strong saturation. May
  appear less powerful under bright lighting conditions. Usually
  considered top range in a jewelry shop.
Deep
- Strongly saturated with exceptionally fine color intensity.
  Represents the top 5% of all stones mined and is considered an
  excellent example of tanzanite
Intense
- Top 1% of colors mined, showcasing the rarest and most
  outstanding color intensity. GIA Color Grade 6/6
